Whenever an NFT is minted or traded, a 10% fee is charged on the transaction, with the remainder going directly to the NFT owner or seller.
This process is automated through the use of a smart contract, and can be described as follows:
The royalty of 10% has been implemented exclusively on the Tezos blockchain.
The change in royalty distribution will only affect secondary sales. Previously, sellers received 90%, but now they will receive 80% with the remaining 10% going to the original creators of the NFT.
